"Determining the client's ultimate goal — then working backwards to get them there."
Born and raised in Searcy, Stewart Headlee has been practicing law for over 20 years in Little Rock. While completing his undergraduate studies in Finance at the University of Arkansas, Stewart envisioned pursuing an MBA followed by a job in the finance field. Desiring a more versatile and rewarding career, Stewart directed his path towards becoming an attorney and considers it one of his best decisions.
Taking a common-sense approach, Stewart first determines the client's ultimate goal and then works the matter backwards in order to advise the client of their available legal options and recommending the best path to achieve the client's goal. Doing so ensures that the client and attorney are on the same page and working towards what the client ultimately wants to achieve. In taking this approach, Stewart excels in analyzing complex legal matters and breaking them down to simple, understandable terms that fosters client communication and involvement — all of which has allowed Stewart to consistently obtain the best results for his clients.
Taking advantage of his education in finance, Stewart's areas of practice have centered on complex finance litigation and transaction matters, including representing several financial institutions, auto dealerships, medical providers and other businesses on matters that span across the legal spectrum. Stewart appreciates being able to represent a versatile client base and enjoys being able to handle legal matters across several industries while constantly gaining knowledge of new and emerging industries.
Away from the office, you can likely find Stewart with his rescue dog, Kingsley, enjoying the beautiful parks, riverside trails, and neighborhood walkways throughout Little Rock. Stewart also enjoys giving back to the Little Rock community through his service in The Hat Club of Little Rock, having previously served as vice-president and board secretary.
